Delta Ambulance held their annual employee
recognition dinner May 17, the opening day of National Emergency Medical
Services Week. In addition to a good time, several employees were
award recipients.
The Patient Care Award goes
to the employee from each base of operations, Waterville and Augusta,
who receives the most patient compliments for quality patient care;
The Peer Recognition Award
is based on fellow employee feedback and
The Community Service Award
is made to the employees who most participates in Community Outreach
events.

The Silent Hero Award is made
to the employee who is deemed by his peers to be the one who goes
beyond the call of duty and is always ready, willing and able to help
fellow employees. The Silent Hero Nominees For 2009 were Jay Pfingst,
Brenda Smith, Randy Caswell, Steve Helme and Gene Hassen

Clinical Performance Excellence Award
is given to those employees who rise to the top 10% for clinical performance
accuracy as determined in the company’s quality improvement
program audits.

Paramedic Ambulance service serving central Maine from bases in Waterville
and Augusta.. National Emergency Medical Services week is the third
week each May and is endorsed by Maine’s Governor in a proclamation
making it Maine Emergency Medical Services Week as well.
