Delta Donates Surplus Unit to Windsor
Rescue
May 28, 2010 - Waterville
Delta Ambulance donated a surplus ambulance
unit to Windsor Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department for their use
as a rescue vehicle. Delta replaces ambulances regularly on a schedule
and from time to time an ambulance scheduled for replacement has a
significant amount of life left in it. Such was the case last week.
Windsor cheerfully accepted the 2006 Ford PL
Custom Coach ambulance. While the ambulance is no longer suited to
the rigors of Delta Ambulance it should serve Windsor well carrying
rescue gear and providing shelter at scenes.
"I am happy the timing was right that we could assist Windsor
in acquiring a newer vehicle for their service" said Tim Beals,
Delta's executive director
