Delta Ambulance Recognizes Employees

At a fun dinner celebration held at the Senator Inn in Augusta, Delta Ambulance Thanked and recognized its employees with some sixty employees in attendance. The group was addressed by Mr. Bill Whitley on behalf of Delta’s Board of Directors thanking them for their undying service to the communities. The Keynote Speaker, Jay Bradshaw, Director Maine Office of EMS and former Delta Paramedic, spoke of the history of EMS in Maine and its vital and integral relationship with Community Emergency Preparedness. Awards were delivered by Delta’s Director of Operations, William Dunwoody. The Annual awards are:

Star Award – awarded for Clinical Excellence as determined by Delta’s Quality Program;
Silent Hero Award – winner chosen by the staff of almost 100 as the person most often “there when needed”.

The Board of Directors Awards made to employees working from each base of Operations, Waterville & Augusta:

Patient Care – in recognition of persistent patient feedback regarding the individual;
Peer Recognition – as chosen by their peers for value;
Public Relations – the employees most involved with Delta’s Community Outreach; and Longevity Awards – for period of time as a Delta Employee.
